We all have too many books on our TBR list. We're all probably juggling at least two books at a time. We probably have less tiem than we used to for reading. So what are some strategies you'ld like to share with the rest of us. How do you try to keep up with your reading? There have to be some secrets out there somewhere to help.

I wish I had a good one. I've been having a
I got a bit of a laugh out of this cause just recently while driving a friend of mine was almost side swiped by another car. She looked over at the other driver and wouldn't you know it the lady was driving AND reading her book! I love to read, but I think that would be a bit too much! LOL!
I don't have much of a strategy I'm afraid. I'm a full-time grad student and, frankly, get most of my recreational reading done when there are major projects due and I'm looking for distractions! One thing that's helpful is that since I don't have any spare money to spend on books, my TBR pile is very gradually getting smaller! I seem to be borrowing and reading books from the library more frequently than my own TBRs though, or re-reading old favourites, like the Chronicles of Narnia. I like my reading to be very escapist during the semester.

I don't have a TBR pile! The age pension in Australia doesn't exactly leave money for books LOL It means I take note of books that I want to read and then check the libraries. I'm lucky that there are 3 in my district and they all accept the one library card. If a book is not available in one of the three, I can request a search statewide and sometimes they manage to find it and send it to one of them.
My reading strategy is fine because of my life situation right now - I'm retired, share a house with my grandson who is almost 21 and works late most nights, so I have heaps of free time. I don't watch TV, sometimes an hour or so a night, but that's it. I catch public transport so read while I'm travelling.
When I was younger and worked full time I read during the commute to and from work, stayed up late (very late) at night (much to my hudband's disgust :-)). EVen read while I was cooking. Grandson reads in the bath LOL - I would get the book wet - he doesn't.
Happy reading
