Finished DS's sampler - have been working to get it on a webpage but had a lot of problems. But now my webpage is up, too. Most of the picts are thumbnails. YEAH! I'm feeling pretty good about now. Now to finish my Lavendar and Lace one! My webpage is at: http://pages.ivillage.com/justshawna/ (I don't know how to make this a link!)

Congratulations, Shawna!

Both for the page and the sampler! I really like the colors in it - so bright and cheerful. Did you create the pattern ytourself, or is it from a chart/designer?

"Baby Moon" one is so charming... and I really like the one you did for your FIL!

And you actually stitched a TW to give away! WOW! I find her stuff SOOOOO challenging that I never get very far at all, let alone finish one!

Shawna, I love the sampler! It is really cute and you did a lovely job.

It was fun visiting your website and seeing your work. I can understand how proud it makes you to accomplish all that.

I have that TW leaflet, but don't know if I will ever get it stitched! LOL!

And the Frank Lloyd Wright design turned out really nice! I remember when you were struggling with the metallic thread on that one! Nice job.

Thanks Carol! The nautical sampler came from a book entitled "Gorgeous Cross-Stitch" by Chris Rankin. I also really like a jungle-themed sampler, but don't know anyone who's got a jungle-themed nursery! I usually find TW challenging, but enjoy it because her stuff is so beautiful. I'm working on 2 others for my MIL.

Thanks, Becky. Yes, the Frank LLoyd Wright turned out well - now if I can just get it framed!! I also have two more FLW's for my FIL, but haven't started them. I also have a gob of unfinished leaflets, patterns, and kits! I had to sort though them and pick out my priorities so I can focus!!
