Which drags you away from stitching over the festive season?
- The sales on in the shops, I can't stay away!
- The children screaming to be entertained.
- All the delicious food on offer, just can't stop cooking/baking/sampling!
- Catching up on all my favorite classic Christmas films.
- All the relatives descending on the house.
- There just isn't the space with all the new Christmas presents/wrapping paper..
- My social life is too busy, I'm out every night!
- NOTHING keeps me from my stitching!

Has the recession really led us to make do instead of just throw away?
In these economically challenged times, do you think we need a Repair Manifesto?
What do you do to get yourself out of a style slump?

Not about stitching since I don't stitch, but work is a huge source of distraction from the things I'd like to do!

Nothing keeps me away from my stitching because I do most of my stitching in the evening

I voted the kids, but as I no longer have kids at home that isn't correct it's work (oh wait those are kids!) well anyway for me it's that four letter word WORK! Really puts a crimp in my knitting/stitching at times. On the 11th I'm doing a field trip, so I'm going to have at least 4 hours of down time (which I will be paided for mind you) to knit. YEA for Samantha
