I've started to read "Rushes" by Joanna Z. Adams. It's supposed to be suspense, set in the 80's. A female director in Hollywood is being charged with criminal negligence when the star of her movie is killed on set after attempting to do his own stunt.
It's horrible so far. Unfortunately, I've got Finish-Every-Book-You-Startdisease, though, so I'll be suffering for a week.
I am reading Scent To Her Grave by India Ink.It is another cozy mystery set in a bath and body shop.Since i love aromatherapy and want to be a massage therapist i thought it sounded right up my alley.I'm only on chapter 2 but so far i want to keep reading.
Over the weekend, I finished "Some Like it Lethal" a Blackbird Sisters mystery by Nancy Martin. Now I'm almost finished with "Killer Cocktail" by Sheryl J. Anderson. Both fun "cozy" mysteries. Not sure what's up next.
Ok, I am about to finish up The Main Corpse by Diane Mott Davidson. This is a quick, fun read in the culinary mystery style. I would say this book is alright. I've liked some of her others in the same series so much more...but then again I haven't gotten to the end yet so it still has a chance of being a great mystery. After I finish it I plan to start The Plot Thickens which is a collection of mystery short stories. And I am still working my way through the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I often get lost in the details though so I have to have a block of time where I can just focus in on the story without distractions. And those times are few and far between.

Bummer!
Hey Teri,
I do tend to suffer through books I don't like, and I've never known why. It nags at me. Maybe I have a mild case of OCD??
Hmmm, I'm interested to know what other people do when they dislike a book?
I'm going through the same thing.
