Hi all,

I've just purchased a Uniquely You dress form, and need to hire a seamstress to fit it to me. Does anyone know where I could find one near Boston, MA?

Thanks in advance,

Lee Ann

Hi LeeAnn,

I don't know anyone personally but you could maybe call around to seamstresses to see if they would be able to do it for you. You could probably find them listed in the yellow pages or call gown shops. Hope this helps.

P.S. I am North of Boston too.

You could try calling a local fabric store - they could probably recommend someone.

Best of luck!

Stacey (still using my homemade "duct tape" dress form - and loving it!! LOL)

I think I found someone! There's a seamstress right near my train station, who is open Saturdays from 10-4. She has a pretty thick accent, so communication might be a problem, but the instructions for the dress form comes with pictures too.

Keeping my fingers crossed...

Good luck, Lee Ann. Hope you can get it done. I will have to check out the Uniquely You, as I am not familiar with it.

Actually, I signed up for sewing lessons, and my first one is tonight. We bring projects in, and the teacher will help us work on it. I was going to bring my dress form in, but, I tried it on the foam base, and it's close enough to my own measurements to work with, for now anyway.
