Last day of November. My gosh!

SO how did you do last week? Did you get a lot accomplished?

What is going on this week? Are you in the middle of holiday planning?

Has the recession really led us to make do instead of just throw away?
In these economically challenged times, do you think we need a Repair Manifesto?
What do you do to get yourself out of a style slump?

Last week, my list included:

1. Wait for the appliance repairman to call, AGAIN! LOL === he came, with ANOTHER new icemaker. it works! YAY! Apparently the "new" one he put in two weeks ago was faulty!

2. Cook for Thanksgiving (assuming DH finds out if BIL is coming) and do the shopping - will have to work this in around the appliance repairman === did the shopping for a full meal but only had to do my rice dressing and cranberry sauce and DH had to bake pies. Both done Wednesday night.

3. Stamping demo on Tuesday night === done

4. Stitchery - Work on "Free Flight" === all done except backstitching, french knots (ACK) and embellishment.

5. House cleaner comes Wednesday === done

6. Walk - one mile a day… === well, I did walk one mile on Monday and on Saturday! Progress

7. Pay bills and FINISH the computer records! === DONE! Actually DONE. Not a receipt left to file (except the ones that will come in from now on, that is)! WOO HOO!

So this week...

1. Wait for the delivery man to come (between 10 and noon on Monday - DH's repaired loudspeaker!) === DONE (he came an hour early!) Just helped Charlie move it inside from the front porch.

2. Stamping demo on Tuesday night

3. Stitchery - Work on "Free Flight"

4. Haircut on Wednesday

5. House cleaner comes Wednesday

6. Walk - one mile a day…

7. Pay bills and keep the computer records current!

I need to fast on Monday night/Tuesday AM for blood tests for my semiannual check-up next week.

Oh, and I have this tentative notice of jury duty sometime between December 1 and December 30, How convenient. AAAARGH!

* Figure out what my new cousin's Christmas present is. He was born Nov 29 with a birth weight of nearly 11pounds, so I know that any clothing I consider is going to be a little bigger than newborn.

That is one BIG baby! Are you going to make him clothing or something that isn't size-specific?
