That's wonderful! Mini-van, huh? That means that you have to have kids now! :)

WOOOT! I am a huge fan of the minivan. I wanted one soooo badly when we had just 2 little kids and a Saturn SL2. I loved my Saturn but longed for roadtrips that didnt include cramped quarters! I begged dh for a van, and his exact words that he denies to this day were "you can't style in a van" The heck you can't! You can take the back seat outta that joker, put a speaker box and amps in there and still have room for the kids up front and I can still get the double stroller AND groceries in there! Still not convinced...THEN it took me getting pregnant with our third child for him to see we needed a bigger vehicle. It couldve been a full size car, but I sure as heck wasn't trying to squeeze two kids and a carseat in the back of that lil Saturn. We took a roadtrip in our van (91 Pontiac TransSport SE w/ 119,000 miles) 3 days after getting it in 2001 to see his family for Christmas. OMG it was the BEST roadtrip ever because the boys had room to chill out, and all our stuff was in back, not shoved up under their feet. Well three years and 52,000 miles later it was falling apart at the seams and we had to get something newer. I loved my Pontiac so much I wanted an updated and newer version. They were simply out of budget even being 5 or 6 years old :( and I wasn't willing to break the bank to make car payments. I found a 96 Ford Windstar, fully loaded for $3200 with less than 100,000 miles on it. The guy was a gem and we got it for right around $2900.
