Hi Guys,

I really need help :)

I am making a hat on circular needles and the pattern called for size 7 "16 needles but I have size 7 "24 needles. Should I rip it out and get new needles or will my hat turn out ok?

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

I'm only a novice knitter, but I believe that the length difference with circulars shouldn't make too much of a difference with the final product.


Hopefully someone else will know better :)

I did end up ripping it out and getting the right sized needles. My head is big but not THAT big :P

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Nah... your head is big. Maybe you should go for size 86"? LOL Kidding... Everyone, this is my friend IRL too so I'm just messing with her! She's quickly becoming a kick-butt knitter!
