In knitting, it's scarves. They are fast, brainless and easy... and I have someone to give them too (I have a niece i=who LOVES scarves!).

Haa haa, quite often! I get in a rut over scarves and my Ripple shawl. One of the first projects I ever started was a check pattern scarf in spring colors. I haven't worked on it in so long but I think that I may pick it up again after I finish this sock. Spring is around the corner (hopefully) and I'm almost to the end of the skein. My Ripple shawl, that I complain about so much, grow so slowly that I get bored with it and have to pick up something else. I do carry it aorund with me and add to it a little bit at a time. Once I kick this sock-knitting habit maybe I'll stop neglecting them.
