I'm working on a star dishcloth the pattern can be found at http://www.jimsyldesign.com/~dishbout/cpatterns/jstar.html My question is for the very beginning that says chain 4; work 9 dc in first st of ch - am I interpreting correctly to chain 4 and do 9 double crochets in the first stitch of the chain? To fit 9 dcs the first stitch would have to be pretty big right? or am I reading this wrong?

Thanks,

You are reading the pattern correctly. That's a cool dishcloth. Please let us know how it comes out and if you have time please post pictures!

So, how did the dish cloth turn out? I love the pattern, had to print it out for my files ;-)
