Please share the things you did to work towards a *healthier* and therefore  *happier*  you!

Exercise you did .. any exercise whether it was walking, housework, going to the gym, gardening!   All activity counts.
 


Healthy diet choices you made, or didn't make!

 

Water is so important especially with warmer weather on the way.  Did you drink enough? 

 

Diet Plan if applicable:For those going to TOPS, Weight Watchers or similar we would really like to know how you are going.

Great you're able to get a lot of walking in Deb!


I've been having to cut out salt too. My ankles swell when I get too much salt. Geez..I never had to worry about this before. It's just one of the "interesting" things about aging!!

Exercise you did

-> My usual elliptical and treadmill for 40 to 45 minutes. Walked around the neighborhood two mornings and then by myself in the afternoon during the week. Housework, purging closets, pulling a few weeds, yadda, yadda, yadda.


Healthy diet choices you made, or didn't make!

-> I've been keeping myself away from too much salt. Been on a salt kick the past couple of months.

THURSDAY Geez, I'm the only one posting in this thread! Wish others would take advantage of it as well for I find it helpful to be accountable.

Good to see someone else posting here!! Glad you mentioned walking..I almost forgot about doing my exercise walking today!! I weigh in tonight at TOPS too!!


Good for you on eating more fruits & veggies instead of snacks! Of course it depends on what snacks and how often as to whether or not it's good or not so good.
