Okay, Summer will soon be here....so my question to the group is do you start exercising more when you know the summer months are approaching?...What do you do for exercise?

This winter I slacked off very badly.. I just didn't have any will or want to go swimming..But before that I was swimming at least 2 times a week..

But! I am joining a gym on Monday! I went and filled part of the paper work today, but I had to quickly leave to meet my friend so we didn't miss the bus and I'll finish on Monday.

I'll have 2 friends at the same gym, so there will almost always be someone to work out with and go to the classes with. I'm excited!

I really hope I will like it and keep up on it so the money I am paying is worth it.

Hi Johanna,
Your walk sounds like a lot of fun not to mention great exercise!
Lucky you on having a pal to walk with .. really helps to get you going I think.
When will you be opening your pool?
Once we get the heater fixed .. and the weather cooperates .. hope to be in ours next week!

Foot surgery a success and time to learn how to walk again, LOL .. kind of.
Best of luck to your sister .. make sure she stays off it as much as possible.

Have a great weekend :)

I walk a lot. I tend to walk more in the Spring and Fall than in the Summer. I walk to work most mornings and then in the evenings I will ususally take a short walk. :-) Walking is probably the most exercise I do, I swim a little in the Summer in the ocean and at the healthclub but not very much. I'm more of a floating in the water kind of person. ;)

Thanks!

Our walk was nice! It didn't rain..yippee!!

We just bought a spin bike so that will be good to start exercising more frequently.

I think we need to get another liner on the pool..it didn't make it over the winter...2nd liner in two years... don't know why out pool has problems in the winter...he doesn't want to hear it, but I don't think my BF winterizes it properly.

Happy Swimming for you! I'm sure having the heater is great!!! I prefer warm water to swim in.

Hi Johanna,
Is yours an above or below ground pool?
The people that put it in should be held responsible.
We had to have a new liner last summer :::sigh:::
However it lasted

Hi-

It's above ground. We've had the house for three years..and now going on our second liner... :o( not good. BF is tempted to rip it out at the rate we are going!....sigh...
