We've been talking about it .. now it's time to do something about it, LOL

There are many varieties of being organized ~
Getting ready the night before for a day of work
Our house
Our closets
Our drawers
Add your own

So where would you begin?
What room?
What is the first thing you need to do?
When do you plan to start?

Let us know :)

So where would you begin?
Probably upstairs as it would be the easiest, LOL

What room?
The extra rooms

What is the first thing you need to do?
I need to do so much :::sigh:::
My house is neat looking but not organized at all

I'm not in too bad shape. The only thing that sometimes causes me problems is my lack of a filing system. I bought an attractive 2-drawer file cabinet a few ywears ago. I got most of 1 drawer set up, & stopped. I always have piles of papers everywhere. LOL. And my friend Zelda wisely suggested that my file cabinet should be in the same room where I pay my bills, which is the DR. It probably would make more sense, esp. since all paprwork originates downstairs, & my file cabinet is upstairs. But I don't want it in the DR. :-P

So the main thing I need to do is finish setting up my file cabinet. I got rid of a lot of things while I was doinf FlyLady, & I'm gradually getting rid of more through Freecycle. So *stuff* & clutter isn't a real problem for me.

Congratulations to you Katz,
Just having to get organized for filing papers, etc is absolutely great!
Means your well on your way
Not so sure I would want a filing cabinet in my dining room ..
However .. maybe this weekend you can take one stack of papers to sort through.
They say it starts with *baby steps* you know!
Good luck and let us know if you do any :)

we have been in this home for a year now and are in renovations.the kitchen needs more cupboards.we tore out the front wall in the livingroom.the bathroom is preety much together as are the bedrooms. the basement is crazy. it flooded, my son is down there.we have lots of stuff stored there while constructing.we also have a spare room full of stuff.like coats and other things from our porch(which is part of the livingroom expansion).the yard is prety much together. we do have a big wood pile(from the house)and garden tools in one corner.all this is part of the construction.
we have been going though boxes of seasonal stuff, and organizing it. yes i decorate for all the seasons.
so when the construction is done, organizing will happen again.

Then you can organize to your heart's content
In the meantime .. take it
