1 1/2 lbs. ground lamb or beef (I don't eat lamb)
1 T minced garlic (I use more)
2 T curry powder
1 cinnamon stick (I just use regular ground cinnamon)
1 t minced fresh gingerroot or 1/2 t ground ginger powder (I use more)
1 t salt (I use less)
1 1/4 cups peas (fresh or frozen)
Saute meat, chopping & turning to break it up. As soon as pan becomes moist, add all other ingredients except peas. Stir & cook until meat is done. Add peas & cook & stir until just tender & heated through.
Makes 4 servings. Delicious & very easy. :o)

I like spice, but not if it's so hot and causes my nose to run so I'm sniffing more than eating~ LOL!
We have a few great indian places here that I like.
I love the spice and flavor..on the mild side. but it's healthy and I something different.
