When was the last time you has a rootbeer float?

LOL, Over the weekend we went to Cheer's in Boston and something about the shape of the glasses they have there just made me want a rootbeer float so I got one yesterday and when I ordered it the bar tender said "wow, haven't had one of those in a long time"...so here are my questions....

When was the last time you had a rootbeer float?

Do you ever do things that may be a little "childish" just because you feel like it?

...You can never loose that inner child, in my opinion!

Are we talking alcoholic or non alcholic here?

I love A&W rootbeer floats. I really love floats w/ chocolate ice cream.

When I was a kid we'd make peach ones w/ peach ice cream and peach ne-hi soda. YUMMMM

LOL...non alcholic :o)

The peach one sounds yummy!

I used to make them with Sprite and Lemon sorbet also :o)

So you ever find yourself doing childish things just for the heck of it? (part 2 of the question)

Oh yeah...second part of the question.

I have an excuse...I have a five year old, therefore I get to do anything childish anytime I want too....just cause I'm a mommy and five year olds dig when mommy acts just like them!

Too cute!

What sort of fun-kiddy things do you do together?

My brother says that for Christmas you get that "wake up on Chrismas morning" feeling all over again when you have kids...just like when you were a little kids again.

It's special.

He's right...you do get that feeling.

Let's see.....I get to play on the McDonald's play land things....you know the tubes and such.

Roll down grassy hillsides.

Play w/ finger paints.

Make mud pies.

Wear silly hats, crowns, gloves and do each other's makeup....which is always interesting. I ran an errand once and wondered why I was getting goofy looks...I'd forgotten to wash my face after a "beauty shop" session at home.....yeah...blue blush, wild eyeliner.....etc, tiara, the whole nine yards.

Funny...you never actually think of that stuff...making memories....you just live for the moment and don't really care what anyone else thinks about it.

"you just live for the moment and don't really care what anyone else thinks about it."

That's just how life should be!

*drool* It has been ages since I had a RootBeer float!!

Finland doesn't have rootbeer! And it has been a while since I had one when visiting in the US!

I do have some rootbeer extract that I need to use to make some homemade rootbeer someday..but it is nothing like A&W or Barq's (has bite!).

Man, I've gotta get someone to bring me some rootbeer!
