Good answer on your kids voices as your familiar sound Glenda,
Very sweet too no doubt .. most of the time anyway
Too bad on that loud music .. can't you do anything about it?
Sometimes those everyday sounds can really become annoying.
Hopefully you get use to them after awhile :)

What's your favorite sound?

A child giggling.

Do you have anything in your house that chimes, makes noise?

We have a grandfather clock that chimes every quarter hour. Sometimes we don't wind the chimes as it can get a bit annoying.

Do you like the sound of your door bell?

It's okay.

Live close enough to hear any church bells?

Yes, there's one church with a bell but it's quite quiet so it's not a problem.

The main railway line from Edinburgh to Aberdeen runs at the back of our garden. You do get used to them but some of them are really loud as they go past.

Hi Anne,
Great to see you here :)

Children's laughter is indeed infectious, LOL
Sweet sounds absolutely!
I think that is cool you have a grandfather clock.
Guess it could get a bit annoying, however maybe you get use to it overtime?
Lucky you to hear the church bell is quiet .. how can that

Hi Nery,
Oh yes on a baby's laughter, LOL .. very endearing to hear.
Don't you love the dryer sounds
Are the church bells an hour thing or daily?
Too bad about those train sounds late at night & in the morning like that.
Do they awaken you?
Just wondering :)

The grandfather clock ALWAYS chimes at an important bit in a movie and we'll turn to each other and say "What did he say?". That's why we sometimes don't wind the chimes! :o)

Our churches only ring their bells on a Sunday morning. They don't have clocks with chimes every hour or anything like that.

The trains don't run at night. I think the last one is just before midnight. Occasionally a goods train goes by through the night but we don't notice them any more.

LOL on that happening at that precise time Anne,
Makes sense .. know what you mean too!

That's not too bad then if it's only once a week.
Imagine it would be kind of nice to hear too.

That's great they have to stop after a certain time.
Allows for better sleep
Thanks for letting me know all this .. appreciate it :)
