When you were a teen say around 16 to 18 or so ..
Were you a *goody two* shoes or a rebellious teen?
Cause your parents grief or were simply the best?
What did you do to cause them grief if you did?
Looking forward to your answers :)

Thanks for the idea Pat

I am ashamed to say that I was "goodie two shoes" at home- then when I went out I turned into a crazy girl ! Staying out late & hanging out with kids that drove my parents nuts ! Tell them I was gonna stay over my friends house & stay out all nite- with "the girls" drinking & being foolish ! Nothing ever REALLY bad! One time at a party, one girl was jeleous (sp) that I was flirting with her boyfriend- went out & bashed in 2 side windows of my car & it so happened- on my home that nite- my whole muffler fell off- making my car sound like a NASCAR -loud ! God bless my dear father, he was not too happy in the morning- but spent the day rounding up parts & repairing my car ! But actually, he made me get under the car & help him with the muffler ! I was not happy- as I had those huge tin-can rollers in my hair (getting ready to go out again!) but I did it !
That was just 1 nite!! lol !!! But god got me back cause 1 daughter gave us alot of grief in her teen years! oh well, what goes around comes around !!!

LOL....i just had this conversation with my dad a couple weeks ago!! he said i gave him headaches and indegestion!!! i stressed him.
for the most part i was good. at least i never got in trouble with the police. most of it was normal teenage stuff.some of it was a bit wild...i partied at times. what drove them crazy was breaking curfew. i hated that i had to be home at 10 on the weekends and my frinds got to be out til midnight.sometimes i would spend the weekend with friends but did not home to checkin.
hhmmm...i wonder where my boys get that ? LOL
love all this reminiscing :O)

have a great day

it seemed i was grounded alot! even no phone. thank goodness for an older sister who rescued me! iwas BAAAD..i'd go to her house to "babysit" and then go with friends anyway!!

if my parents went out i would have friends come over and have them leave before my parents got home.

Oh too funny about being so *good* at home Bunny,
Looks like you had some fun though
Did you get in trouble after that incident?

I hear you on *what goes around comes around* ::blush::
Payback can be tough sometimes don't you think?
Least your parents survived as you will too :)

It is fun to look back at this isn't it Pat,
Too funny on your *behavior* way back when.
Yes now you know or already knew why your boys do what they do
No doubt your kids will be looking back & laughing over this kind of thing as well.
Kind of nice you can *joke* about it now with your Dad though :)

I always found it much worse when I was not allowed to use the phone!
