LOL. (hmmm...Do you know about online phrases like "LOL"?) I live in Lancaster. Tourist heaven! Of course, we who live here can't understand why anyone would want to come here for a vacation. ;o) (Do you know about smilies?) We live around the Amish every day. And the traffic around the outlets is out of control. :(

In college, my best friend was from Bucks County, so I know some of that area. Haven't been to New Hope in many years. Went tubing there once.

What is your son allergic to? Pollen & seasonal stuff, or foods & such?

I've never been to the Cape may Zoo. I'll have to make it a point to get there. Thanks for the tip. When I go down for a week, I just rent a bike for the week & leave my car where I'm staying. easier than walking or fighting traffic & paying for parking. I never stayed at the B&B's, but my mom used to.

Enjoy your free time. :)

I love the Alex Cross books. But I saw Along Came a Spider & didn't really like it, although I love Morgan Freeman. So it made no sense. LOL. So I agree. But I saw the movie before I started reading the Cross series, so I thought maybe that was why. But it seems like a movie is seldom as good as the book, right?

I saw the movie before I read the book so I thought the movie was okay.

Hello Again!

Katznbooks reminds me of my mom. She loves cats and books!!

So...I do know some online phrases. They are silly though. I know only a handful--lol,rofl,omg,brb and probably a few others. On another board for kids whenever they write about their kids they do like DS for dear son. So in my mind, I'm just like why can't they just write son? Who knows? I guess I have to get with the program. I am going to make up my own phrases. I told my husband that the people on the message boards do DH for dear husband and that I was going to do PITBH for him. Do you know what that is? Pain in the butt husband. he he he -- I mean lol It is appropriate this week though. To make a long story short, he crashed his motorcycle riding in the woods and hurt himself and has been home all week. He isn't hurt bad. He's hurt just enough to remember that he isn't 17 anymore and that we can't afford his "adventurous" hobby. I was nice, I said adventurous. he he

Lancaster is soooo touristy and the outlets are crazy busy. You are right. I like them, of course, but I could do without them there. As an outsider, I like to go there and ride around the country and stop at farm markets. I also like the Amish section, it is interesting. The shops are cute. I like Kitchen Kettle. I like the Green Dragon flea market too. I live near the Jersey Shore, so I know aaaalllll about the whole tourist thing. It gets insane around here in the summer. You don't want to go to the beach on the weekends and it is hard to just get from one town to another. I like walking on the boardwalk in the spring and fall when it is peaceful and quiet

My little boy is allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts. He is 18 months and we found out maybe 4 months ago. It has been rough, but we are mangaging. I feel bad for him, because the first year of his life he was just miserable and didn't sleep good and was soooooooo fussy. He also has eczema. It is soooo much better now that we stopped all the allergic foods. He would get the itchy rash on his ankles, behind his legs and his thighs. He is way tooo cute for me. He said his first sentence the other day. "Oh goose, me may mess." That means--"Oh goodness, me make mess." I wonder where he heard that from?????? My other son is 5 and just beautiful. I am sooooo blessed. As I'm writing this I'm wondering if I already mentioned my kids. I tend to do that. I am in the "I just love my kids and they are so cute" zone.

I checked out your profile. You are a proofreader. You said you don't proofread your messages or anybody elses, but I know you do. You can't help it. It is just in you. I am not a proofreader, but I just always check. Actually...I don't even check or look for it, it just shows up. I've often wondered if I should get a job proofreading, but I don't know if my grammar is that great. You also stated you love American Idol. So do I. Did you watch it last night? There are some good ones. The guys are good too. You will have to tell me who you like. I wish they could pick a guy and girl winner. I was wondering what your favorite book was about--The Secret Life of Bees? It sounds interesting.

Thanks for getting back to me. I better get going. I could chat all day. Is it not a good thing to write back such long letters on message boards? Talk soon. Byeeeee!!
