I have seen women in all shapes and at all ages wearing leggings. Some look really terrific and some women just think they look good... Do you wear them, do you look good in them?
What do you mean by leggings? The skin tight pants you might see a male ballerina wearing? I wear those under skirts... when I wear a skirt. I can't stand skin touching skin. I am full of heat, I'm a hot person! ;), and I'll get a heat rash. I have to sleep in pants, too.
I used to do ballet so I've had my share of leggings! I loved my lime green ones, and the black with lime green and hot pink stripes.. this was in the 80's. :P
I don't mean tights either, I'm thinking of skin tight nylon pants. That are ever so wrong! :)
I guess I'd have to see a picture of what you're talking about, though reading all the other posts now it sounds like I'm thinking of the same thing. ...I do have one pair, but I won't wear them unless they are under a skirt or a pair of pants. They fit under clothes much better than long johns do! I won't even walk around the house in them with or without Jeremy there. (Jeremy's my boyfriend)
Frankly, I wear leggings at home, cuz I don't turn on every thermostat in every room in my house (electric baseboard heaters) therefore, sometimes, there's draft on the floors, and leggings help keep my lower legs warm.
