last year in june my family lost our brother Thom to aids. it was a long hard battle for him and was hard to watch.the hardest was knowing there was nothing we could do but make him happy. we had a beautiful outdoor service for him in maine.
we are putting together a piece of the aids quilt for him.it will be dedicated this year in may ~ memorial weekend~ at the same place we held his service.after that it will be part of the national quilt in atlanta.anytime we want to see it we can click on the website and see it.
my patch will have pictures of his house and garden from ogunquit maine that he loved so dearly.my older sister bought the background piece that has ocean scene. she will piece it all together for us.
