Do you try to tan?
| Sat, 03-11-2006 - 4:04pm |
It's so nice out here today..yay! I find myself sitting in the sun a lot in the spring, and then I start rolling up my sleeves, putting shorts on, trying not to get tan lines...then I start thinking...I really shouldn't tan, they say it's the #1 wrinkle causer. But it feels so good!
Do you all avoid the sun or lie in it? Tanning beds? Tanning creams? Or parasols?

I agree it makes me feel more positive to be in the sun. I do like spring and fall sun the best. The summer angle is too harsh but it's hard to avoid. That's great you put the spf on your face year round. I'm not that viligant but should be. In the past I would rather wear a hat than put on sunblock.
I do not lay out in the sun or purposfully try to tan, but living in Florida it is hard not to be in the sun and get a tan. I do use sunscreens faithfully, but even in the winter we have tans.
Hugs, is that lotion or block you put on? Yes it makes me feel better too, it wrecks havoc on my haircolor though. Besides all the sun I got walking yesterday I sat on the deck
Being/living in Southern California .. had to have a tan, LOL
Have not used it in forever now of course.
I use both block & lotion .. mostly block now though :)
Terre, you're very smart to use that spf 30. I'm not good about that at all. I did go through a short stint of using tanning beds one summer about 3 yrs ago simply because there are no tan lines. I went about 4 times, then I felt silly lying in a bed when the sun was full force outside. lol
I know from experience that Arkansas sun is brutal!
