Do you try to tan?

It's so nice out here today..yay! I find myself sitting in the sun a lot in the spring, and then I start rolling up my sleeves, putting shorts on, trying not to get tan lines...then I start thinking...I really shouldn't tan, they say it's the #1 wrinkle causer.  But it feels so good!

Do you all avoid the sun or lie in it? Tanning beds? Tanning creams? Or parasols?

That's a good idea. I didn't trust those goggles with my eyes open either.

No tanning here. I usually just get burnt playing out in the yard or at the park.

These days, I try not to burn. I used to tan great when I was younger (remember the days of slathering ourselves with baby oil??) but since the sun is just so harmful now, I slather on the SPF 30. I still eventually get a nice tan, though, since I'm Italian and have olive skin.

i love being outdoor and worry about sun damage.i found out years ago you can get sunburned in the winter, too!
i've been sunburned a few times and it is not fun.it is funny to think in my younger days i would lay out in the sun for a few hours. we would use baby oil and mecurichrome(sp?).and yet i was sometimes just as pale when i was done!! we never thought or heard of skin cancer way back then. now,i'll avoid the midday sun if possible.
