Well, besides the obvious- the kitchen- I am usually in the Family room- open to the kitchen, because the computer is there, 1 t.v. is there, my favorite rocker,swivel-rocker is there- it is where everyone seems to be- even tho we have a huge living room !

We have wall-wall carpet thru-out the house, except the kitchen & bathrooms (of course), We have been talking about taking up the carpets & replacing with hardwood and/or ceramic tile-- as rug it starting to show its age--plus, in the past having 150 rotties racing around like it was a dog track- did not help the seams !! lol

I have too many small appliances in the kitchen to name (don't use too often either), we use the toaster oven, micro & oven every day & oh the dihwasher (of course)

Don't you just love having the FR open to the kitchen like that Bunny?
Allows for so much I think, LOL
Sounds like you sure do have all your favorite things in there as well!

Getting hardwood floors, tiles sounds wonderful!
Do you think it will really happen?
What about the dogs or did I miss it & they are gone now?
Can imagine how much fun they'll have sliding around tile

Funny how we have to have certain appliances yet don't use them all daily.
Any you could get rid of & not miss?

Have a great day :)

Hi Pat,
Sounds charming where you live.
Hanging out in the LR is perfect too.
As long as you have the necessities right there

Good to have the nice varity of flooring you do.
Any chance of it changing any time soon?

Many appliances you have in the kitchen, wow!
How often do you use the crockpot?
Maybe you could put the blender away?

Hi Ann,
Makes sense why you use your LR .. where is the computer?
Hopefully fairly close to the LR right?

Do you love your tile in the kitchen?
Ever thought about pulling up the carpet?

Wow 15 appliances in the kitchen ..
Going to put some away?
Are they right there because it's easier to have them out when you want to use them?

Enjoy your day :)

oops, I just re-read my post again, it sounds like I had 150 rotties- I meant 1 150 lb rottie- that is now deceased (saddest day ever) My DD has a 140lb rottie- that runs around here like a big goof.

it's cozy in here...that's for sure! nothing fancy but it's a place to live and things around here will stay the same.

i use the crock pot once or twice a week. i have a half wall in my kitchen area that has shelves and my small appliances have their places.i'd have to rearrange everything just to move one thing.it is a very tiny area.
i don't use the blender that much but nice to have when we want a shake or smoothie.
