I would never EVER park in a handicapped space !! I often see people pull into one & I give them a dirty look- usually it is a young person. My husbamd will yell to them -- I don't see your handicap sticker- or you don't look like your handicapped ! It really bothers both of us !!!

Wow! We don't have special parking places for moms where I live. Interesting idea.

I see more and more older folks using them,
not sure if they're really handicapped,
but I hope the few steps it saves them,
might make them happy!
Our town is growing so fast, and all of the
parking lots are inadequate, especially in the
summertime when all of the tourists bring those
HUGE RV's pulling a car/boat behind.And when they
pull into the Safeway parking lot, they take up
so much space. You get two or three of them, plus
pick ups pulling boats, it gets crowded pretty
quick! They've been remodeling all winter and still
have at least 20 containers parked around with
building supplies, as well as piles of shelves
in the PL.I went to get some movies on Senior
Citizen's Discount day and there were no carts
in the store, they were full of the store's stuff
because they were insntalling new freezers.Poor
CC's because everything was relocated, and most
of the coolers were emptpy, no one could find
anything.
