it is really stormy out there. big cracks of thunder and lightening. hope all of you in the central states are safe from the storms. the news was awful to watch
let me change this to FURIOUS. i am so po'd at my son..yes the one i was being so kind and helping him get a car.well...he can just forget that. i just got a call from the state barracks. he was busted at an underage drinking party. GGGRRRR....he was being so good and i trusted him. he is on his way home. a friends mom is bringing him which means i have to go get my car in the morning. well...i guess with this fine he won't be getting his own car or insurance. how can i trust him now? wait til he tells his father.
i best do some relaxing deep breaths before i pop. my mantra will be be" i won't kill him...i won't kill him"

Oh dear .. I just posted to your post about his getting a car ::sigh::
the raspberry is for boys. so much for my happy mood. i know it is normal ...i was a teen once too. i just never got caught. it just doesn't make it any better.GGRRR
just the big debate now if i should let him have his car.....whoi said life with teens was dull? LOL
I would never describe life with teens as dull LOL! but am living proof that you do survive the ordeal LOL again!
Should you let him have his car .. sure, but not immediately .. let him *suffer* a little bit .. he deserves to for getting caught!
i figured i have survived justin ...i can survive him! hmmm...torture with the car! LOL
let it sit in the driveway and let him drool!!! he won't be going far for long anyways.
Could be worse
Sounds normal to me ..
You know what .. you'll all survive :)

Oh Sporty, I can feel your rage !! I have been there also- love getting that call to say that your under age child has been taken to the police station & being kept in Protective Custody until you come get them ! urghhhhh! It happened to my 2 youngest, twice with DD & once with DS ! They were good kids, but not smart enough to run like most kids did ! It takes awhile before you can actually trust them again ! It is like fishing you give out some line- they screw up- you haul the line back in! Sometimes seems like you do that for a long time! SOmetimes the fishing pole just gets put in the garage & the kids are banished to the house for a long time- with none of the frills ! he-he !
Hang in there- it happens to the best of them! Sometimes, they actually are victims, being at the wrong place at the wrong time!
Hugs & Stay calm ! (I know easier said then done)
