If you're having a bad day, what helps you?

my answers...

love and understanding from my family
a nice chat with friends IRL and on the boards
sunshine - warmer weather
cup of tea
retail therapy - cautiously
take a walk - need to do that more
lose weight - 40 more to go
music

Hi Dunkies ! This is a good one ! hmmmm- let me see----

When I am having a bad day these things make me feel better---

Seeing & holding my Grandson- he is the "Sunshine of my life"

Being outside in the sun- just being outside!

Listening to my fav CD's

Going for a ride in the car

Talking to my 3 wonderful DD's

Reading wonderful posts from great ladies on IVillage

things that help me:

first and foremost is my loving dh
my ds and his laugh and smile
being home
a HOT shower
listening to Dvoräk's : Romanze
tea with milk and sugar
candy
a bookstore
water (a drink of water because when I'm down, I find that I'm also usually dehydrated!

what helps me on a bad day ?

going for a walk- especially in the sunshine.
being outside working in the yard.
visit with a friend and talk
post here with friends
hot bubble bath in the evening
a good cry followed by a good laugh!
a hug from my son- jeremy does & justin has a hard time showing affection

  1. A phone call, IM or email from my daughter

  2. Sunshine

  3. Aimless driving

  4. Reading (something funny, preferably)

  5. A call from my neighbor and best friend

  6. My cat, Millie - watching her antics, petting her or just having her around.

1. my DS smiling and laughing :)
2. taking a walk/exercise
3. quilting
4. a cup of coffee....mocha is my favorite!
5. talking with friends...both on the computer and in person :)

-Music, it always pulls me out of myself.
-Strolls in nature (must have isolation)
-My ex-roomies cats. I really miss them. Soft, fluffy balls of therapy
-Drawing, painting, sewing; anything artistic allows my mind to release.
-Working out at the gym. If I really don't feel great when I go in, I am transformed on the way out!
-Reading these posts!

Thank you for the warm welcome..
No, unfortunately, I can't have any fuzzles where I'm at, but I love them.
I'm in Michigan, used to be overseas among other places. It's great here for an artist.
I actually found this site after following a link when I was trying to get over a particulary painful breakup.
Anyway, That's me.
I'll be carving up sandcastles in the corner and coming around every now and then!!
