That is a good one !!

I call it Supper, Hubby calls it Dinner, I guess it is what your mother called it.I really don't know if there really is a difference .

We have supper around 5:00 (much to my dismay) only because hubby leaves for work by 5:30, it makes for a long nite (especially in the winter)

It's supper around home, dinner if I'm with a group of people (sounds more sophisticated...lol).

But on the other hand, you have a nice long evening that you could go out after dinner and take a nice long relaxing walk

Hi Bunny,
How interesting you & DH *still* call it differently like that.
True on what you grew up with.
That is a bit early however allows for a small snack if need be.
More importantly you two eat together :)

Dinner does sound more sophisticated I agree Martha,
Interesting on the definitions though.
Both meals in evening yet one more formal that the other.
Not sure I agree but glad you shared with us.
So it varies when you have it because of when you get home?
