Well, as I said before in a post. GS was at Children's Hosp in Boston 1 week ago, he had twisted his leg underneath him (with a sneaker on) so could'nt pull his leg free. X-rays sowed nothing- was told it was pulled ligaments & muscles!
1 week later, he would still cry when his leg was touched a certain way! so last nite off we go DD & I &GS (daddy was working on Fire Dept) into the heart of Boston at 5:00 on a Friday , rainy nite! Took him right in- as he was there 1 week ago, more x-rays, zooming in on ankle-2 hours later, nothing found on x-rays! Dr was still not happy-- sent baby back to x-ray, to zoom in on shin bone area! again had to wait for tech to read films, BINGO- a spiral fracture! Dr. said it is very common for these spiral fractures not to show on films at first- I don't know if they were covering thier butt! Poor baby has a blue cast from upper thigh to tip of toes, for 3 weeks! What a nite, got home at midnite. Good thing Matthew kept taking cat-naps on our shoulders! At least SIL had to make an ambulance run to the Hospital next to Childrens hosp-- so he was able to stop in for a minute!
Now, this morn at 9:00 I have to take the 150 goffy rottie to the Vets for my DD- hubby still at work- we think he has a ear infection!! I could write a book- on the ongoing saga on my daily events lately! lol! tired Gramma---bunny

He is doing great with the cast! While lying down he has his leg up- looking at the cast, he rolls around fine. Has learned real quick that he can make a loud noise with it while he kicks the floor or crib !! LOL
Matthew just turned 1--2 weeks ago! Good thing he is not walking yet or he would be very frustrated!
