I've been invited to the birthday party of my neighbor's granddaughter.  That might seem odd, but you have to know this neighborhood and know that my neighbor's kids were practically surrogate children of mine, as my dd was to my neighbor (she made my dd go over there before prom so she could get pix, LOL!).  Anyway, I'm stumped as to what to get her!  She wears an 18 month size now, so should I get that size, or get a size bigger?  What I'd like to get is an outfit for her and maybe a bear with the same thing on, but I don't know if I can find a small enough matching outfit - or if she'd even like it.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi Ann,
How fun for you!
Um .. think I would agree with Karyn .. get something for age two.
That way she can grow into it.
A stuffed animal sounds great.
However there are also tons of *leanring* toys you might find as well.
Let us know what you end up getting for her :)

How nice !! If I were to get a spring outfit I would get a 24 month size. If you get a summer outfit, perhaps a bathing suit & robe, I would get a 2T.

As for toys, anything made by Leap Frog, educational toys, are always great. My GS , Matthew, just turned 1 in April, & seems to be about the same size, & I bought him size 2T for summery outfits (along with numerous other things-lol)

Good luck- it is so much fun looking a lil ones clothes- especially lil girls! Can't wait till my 2 other grand babies arrive-- Cameron & Catherine !!

Have fun shopping!
