It was sunny and warm, so I thought I'd take "my baby" (aka my car) out for a spin. Decide to condition the leather seats first. Gather some cloths and the leather cream, pull car out of garage, put top down (It's easier to do the back seats when I can just lean into the car, lol). Do the seats (wax on, wax off). See that the rest of the car is filthy (really filthy!). Put top up, wash car. Realize car is a lot bigger than it appears. Dry car - rewashing/rinsing spots I missed. Rewash windows because I'm a fanatic about them, lol. Tell neighbor I am NOT doing his truck and if he doesn't get it out of my driveway, I'll turn the hose on him, LOL! Think about putting the top down again and going for that drive, but decide I'm too tired - and it looks like rain now!

How I hear ya on that one!! I did the same last week. First was just gonna clean the rims, really dirty- then like you- went on to wash car (really it is a van- Chrysler, Town & Country- know what I mean) lots of area to wash, did windows, looked all spiffy, shoulder was aching (rotator cuff surgery not long ago) took a shower- then DH & I went out for Dinner- black clouds came- & BAM down pours! I should have known- EVERY time I wash the car- it rains--ALWAYS !!
What is that about people asking- "Is thier car is next"? when you decides to wash yours !! lol Well, anyways, your car is nice & clean for your spin!!
Maybe another time
Hope you see those sunny skies later today :)
ain't that always the way it goes? bet it looked nice tho :O)
i have to do the inside of the car again. it gets very dusty from the dirt roads. the other day when i took it for oil change they vaccumed for me. how nice :O)
why do people ask that silly question? same with mowing the lawn.
