Hello humidity

The humidity is awful today, and temps in the 90's too.  Luckily we are "babysitting" some friends' pool for the weekend while they are out of town,  dh is opening it for them and cleaning it up.  He and ds and dd will be swimming in it soon.

I walked early this morning ( 2 miles) and still was sweating enough to change clothes afterwards.

Then I watered flowers, the giant bunny that lives in the yard is eating the blooms off the petunias.  Now I'm staying in until dusk. lol.  Then I am going to spray some pepper spray on the flowers.

Hey Karyn,
Is it an inground pool?
If your DH is just opening it today .. not so sure they'll swim in it that soon, LOL
Your idea of staying in is smart though.
90's with humidity here too.
Sat out a bit but our heater is broken :(
Pool is a refreshing almost 80 .. too cold for me ::blush::
Hope you all are able to use that pool sometime this weekend :)

I like warm weather but not quite that warm. Luckily it is not that warm here up north although we are supposed to be getting a lot warmer in the next couple of days.

It is the deer that we have problems with. They are always eating our veggies from the garden. We have to go chase them out

I kinda miss the deer, we used to have a lot out here but I guess all the building has chased them off.

We have rabbits also and they eat the bark off the trees in the winter but we can control that by putting a wrap around the tree trunks. The veggies that the deer eat are covered with wire (not the kind that would hurt the deer because we don't want to do that) and we also use our dog to chase them away. She is a small dog, we put her on a leash and run like crazy after the deer hoping that we don't fall in the process. Too bad the deer got chased away from your house. It is kind of difficult now though because they can spread lyme disease.

If I remember,,, (ha!) I try to look up an article I did on one of my old boards (Healthy Living and Ecology) about how to scare the deer away......
