I had some roses planted today

This house that I'm renting from my SIL (the nice SIL), had no flowers.  She's a workaholic (a true workaholic) nad never took the time in the 20 yrs that she lived here to plant any flowers.   This is so horrible for me ( I love plants and flowers).  So dh and I decided to enhance the lawn (it's a tiny little patch about of garden enough for a small table and 4 lawn chairs.....

Because iof the gorgeous warm and dry temp here we decided on roses.   So I found a wonderful peach/coral/ yellow  bush rose it is soooo pret ty.    Then we liked it so much , that we went and bought a bright red rambling rose for the fence,  a pink and white one for the side,   a yellw and red comb for in front....

I'm hoping when SIL sees it she will love them........    I'll try to take a photo today......

sounds wonderful!! I love roses!

We have a pink one by the back door, a white one and another pink one in front! I want a yellow and red one, for sure.We are in a harsh climate here and have trouble finding roses in too many colors!!

I also planted a bleeding heart. love it!! granddad had one , so i had to also!

I also planted two new vines last year. One had yelloe flowers and the other purple! We also have a virginia creaper!

Oh, they sound really beautiful! Can't wait to see any pics!

I was out weeding all morning-- all the rain we had, made the weeds grow like wild fire !! Then I some tulips that I got for Easter, that all dies back, so I planted them- along with the others I have.

Came in at Noon- was getting way too hot & humid. My asthmatic lungs told me that was enough-- go inside !!!

Of course they are tiny little rose bushes at this point , but they are in bloom so that's something.
