I love working zigsaw puzzles. The largest one
was 3000 pieces.

There is a man in DeCatur, Il. Who worked one
that had 18,240 pieces. He glued it together
and put it on his basement wall. It is
6 1/2 feet by 9 feet.

It took him 1,047 hours. From Oct. 9th until Feb 17th.

Yikes. I am not very good at any type of puzzle. Never mine 3000 pieces. Have you always been good at them or has it taken a lot of practice.

Wow on those puzzles Mari,
That's great you enjoy them like that.

As for that man ..
OMG .. did he do it every night or straight through like that?

When my boys were younger we always had one going.
They loved it as we did too.

Thanks for sharing that :)

I started working puzzles. When I was real young.
I look for colors and shapes at the same time.

I guess it is easy. If it is something you really
like. I get bored if there isn't a challenge.

Some of my favorites. Is all one thing. Like marbles!
The hardest was all popcorn.

The way the newspaper read. He worked the puzzle straight
thru.

When I work a puzzle. I don't like to quit until I'm finished.
One night when the kids was young. Time got away from me. I
looked at the clock. I knew if I went to bed. I couldn't wake
up. To get them off to school. So I went to bed after they went
to school and my DH went to work. LOL

I don't see how he could have done it. When I worked the 3000
pieced one.I had to put the leaf in the kitchen table. Then it
didn't all fit.
