I love working zigsaw puzzles. The largest one
was 3000 pieces.

There is a man in DeCatur, Il. Who worked one
that had 18,240 pieces. He glued it together
and put it on his basement wall. It is
6 1/2 feet by 9 feet.

It took him 1,047 hours. From Oct. 9th until Feb 17th.

I read the article again. The top left section took him 319 hours from Oct.9 to Nov.15. The Top Right Was 240 Hours From Nov.19 TO Dec.8.The bottom left was 243 hours from Dec.29 to Jan.24.The bottom right was 242 hours from Jan. 25 to Feb. 17. It took three hours to weave the four sections together and glue them into place. For a grand total of 1,047 hours. Then it took 11 hours backing the picture with cardboard and building a frame.
(plus hunting for the missing piece).

I love havin a puzzle going all the time!
The problems are:
the table is only 35 inches in diameter,so no corner space
the table is too far away from good lighting, so I can't work in the winter
(can't see the colors!)
DH doesn't like me to move the table over by the windows
DH doesn't like me to busy up the table when it's mealtime.

So we solved the problem by him getting me those triangle puzzles with only 16 pieces!
They are difficult and take forever to solve!
And they don't take up much room and are easy to move when you want to use the table.

Ta-Da!

Ha

Hugs!
