Yup, I am a Yankee! Never been to the upper midwestern- don't know how they talk! They did'nt have any typical New England words- like soda, we call it tonic, lobster, lobsta, car, ka!!! We speak weird I know-- but anywhere you go-- everybody knows where you are from !! lol The letter "r" does not exist in our accent !!

Nope never heard of that either with the devil.
No idea where it came from, sounds cute though.
However also have not heard of a fountain called a bubbler ::blush::
Where did you get that from?

yes in new england you can pak your cah in the bahn or fish in the rivah... and evrything is wicked-awesome. i pick on my sisters now for that because i have pretty much lost the accent..that is til i spend a week with tham :O)
