vacation is not having to put on sunscreen. LOL. After 8 straight days of putting sunscreen on sweaty skin, it's nice to have only the layer of sweat & not the extra layer of sunscreen. LOL. My vacations usually keep me outside all day, so I have to keep applying sunscreen constantly, since I'm so fair.
Got back yesterday from our trip to the NE. We camped in a state park for 3 days while attending the folk festival on the Hudson River in NYS. Then we drove to Rockport, MA & stayed from Mon. to Thurs. We had great weather--no rain except overnite 1 night while in the B&B in Rockport. We went whale watching out of Gloucester. Only saw about 5 whales, but they were cool. Didn't see any "breech"--jump out of the water. It was a little disappointing, but neat anyway. On the way up, we stopped in Historic Deerfield, MA. On the way back, we stopped at the Mark Twain House in Hartford, CT. Wow! What a house! In Gloucester & Rockport, we did a lot of just walking around, looking, shopping & talking to dog walkers. LOL. Overall, we had a great time. :o)

Too funny on that sunscreen but so important.
Glad you were able to get away like that & have so much fun!
Welcome home :)
