One of my boardies did this on one of my other boards,
Thought we'd try it here :)

 Okay here goes:

Name three things you're thankful your parents taught you.

Name three places you're thankful you visited.

Name three foods you're thankful you tried.

Name three dreams you're thankful you followed.

Name any three things you're thankful for outside of the above categories.

Look forward to your answers :)

Hi Ann,
Kind of nice to look back & see how our parents did for us, isn't it?

  1. How to cook. I may not do it as well, or as elaborately, as my Mom did, but when I do need or want to do something a little complicated,

Hi Paula,
Life's little lessons .. not so easy to learn but needed for sure.

1)you need to work to get what you want. 2) life is sometimes not fair. 3) being smart and doing something with your life doesn't always mean having to be well educated.
No life is not always fair is it .. yet that's how it has to be.
Learning to accpet it is an important lesson.
So true about doing something with regards to education.
You make it what you want it to be don't you?

Hey Pat,
Amazing some of the things make sense our parents taught us

manners, respect & how to take care of myself
So important to know all these isn't it?
Without them people seem kind of rude ::gasp::
Taking care of yourself, being independent ..
What we all hope we pass on to our children.
It's good to see you have been able to go places like that.
Sure do agree about that chocolate
Being alive .. whew ..
Different yet fun .. enjoyed your share .. thank you :)

Name three things you're thankful your parents taught you.
~~ hard work, honesty, stand up for myself

Name three places you're thankful you visited.
~~ Belgium (as a foreign exchange student); Colorado; Monaco

Name three foods you're thankful you tried.
~~ artichoke hearts; tuna; red peppers

Name three dreams you're thankful you followed.
~~ participating in foreign exchange student program; changing my major in college; sticking with my search for a job with my current employer

Name any three things you're thankful for outside of the above categories.
~~ my three guys (dh and two ds's); the opportunity to be home with my kids for 16 years; my good family and griends

Now Hugs - you ask all these great questions (in this post and many others) and you never answer your own questions. Inquiring minds want to get to know you too!!! Please share!

Hey Teri,
Bet we took awhile before we realized what our parents were trying to teach us
Nothing better than trying to stand up for ourselves ..
Not always easy to do either!
Very cool places you've been & traveled, lucky you!
Now those foods .. um .. good on the tuna
Such wonderful dreams you followed.
