Oh yes Amy,
If it will help you save for a vacation .. then you should use many.
Do you take them from the paper?
Hoping you remember every time :)

I always look at them & cut out the ones that I know I would use---BUT, then I forget them at home or in the car- or worse, they are in my pocketbook & I forget to pull them out!! What an airhead!! lol !!

Anybody else as ditsy as me with coupons??

Yep, I'm just as ditzy with coupons, Bunny. That's why I quit bothering with them. I find as I try to cook more healthfully, I do not find as many coupons to use. For the papergoods that might have coupons available, I buy in bulk at Sams or Costco.

I'm usually able to save between 15% - 20% off my total grocery bill w/ coupons. Not too shabby when your spoending more than a hundred bucks!

I seldom remember to take the coupons I clip.

Like a couple of other folks said, they don't make coupons for most of the stuff I buy. They only make coupons for brand names, & I don't buy a lot of brand names. And they're mostly for prepared foods, which I don't buy much of. I save more $ buying off-brands & non-prepared food than I would buying the expensive stuff w/coupons. But I use them (when I remember!) for the $$ cat food I buy (Iams), & some paper goods, & a few other things. One problem I have w/coupons is remembering to use them, even though I have a coupon holder & keep it in my pocketbook all the time. Coupons used to have long expiration dates, or none. Now, they expire quickly, before I need an item that I don't buy very often, or before I remember that I have it. :o(

That way when you have to pay .. there they will be :)
