What's blooming in your garden?

Have any helpful hints to share with us?

If you don't have a garden, do you like to buy cut flowers for the home ?

Do you have a chance to get out into nature to sit and relax, picnic, hike ?

Yikees- I don't know the names of the blooming flowers in my yard!! I do know the day lillies are out- yellow, pumpkin orange & a deep red-orange color. Tall purple spikey showey thingys, daisies, gerbera dasies, another yellow tallish flowers, roses, my fav rose is the cream colored top & deep red under the petal - so pretty!

I just sit in my back yard by the pool & look at the flowers & my beautiful mini japenese red maple- lovely to look at ! I don't like going into the woods or nature- to many bugs & slithery things & too many crazy people hang out in the woods too- at least around here!

I am being plagued with slimy slugs- they are eating up my beutiful gebera dasies! Anybody have any idea's- I have heard to put sm saucers of beer & they will go to that & drown, I find them floating in the pool too-- ick !!!!!

yes you can use the beer that DOES work, but looks really sad and ugly in the morning... but you would have to do all the flowers and that is kind of hard.

Do you have a chance to get out into nature to sit and relax, picnic, hike ? i tried to sit out & read in the evenings but the squitos think it is feasting time.man can those buggers attack with a vengeance! i do go for a walk every evening & sit out to drink my coffee in the early mornings....so peaceful then :O)
