Hi Suzan - thanks for asking. It is still hanging on. The itching is better, but still there. I've quit taking benedryl because I don't like it! I did get some Rx gel/cream to put on and that has helped the itching and the drying up process. It's a pretty bad case. I wouldn't be surprised if I have some long term scarring. What a mess! But it could be worse, I know. It's hard to believe that something that seems as simple as poison ivy can make you feel so miserable.
From one Terre to the next....both me and dh have had it. My dh is highly allergic. One thing that only worked for him is going to the doctor and getting a steriod prescription. It was gone within a week. Nothing else worked for him.
Hi Terre - believe it or not I still feel like crap - the doc gave me an steroid injection last Friday and I'm still having some new spots popping up and itching too. The old spots are dried up thank goodness but they are all leathery - I'm keeping them coated with aloe vera in an effort to soften them up and prevent scarring. I can't imagine having it between my toes! Nasty stuff, isn't it?

I haven't done the Aveeno bath - maybe I should give that at try - might calm my nerves a bit too. Thanks for the suggestion, Pat.
