katz,

I've missed you......  how are you?  Are you feeling 100% yet?   How is the Witch on Wheels?

Better very late than never! LOL. First time I've been here in weeks. Been very busy at work, even working OT.

Had a gastric-emptying test last week as the latest in diagnostic attempts to figure out what went wrong with the surgery. Have appointments this week & next w/2 different docs to talk about the results. We'll see...

Starting to get excited that I'll be buying (or more likely, ordering) my Toyota hybrid very soon. Virtually none in stock, so I'll probably have to wait for it.

Nothing else remarkable going on. Our department had a meeting w/the witch a while ago, in which she tried to find out why we don't like our new set-up. Nobody said anything, of course, because with her, there's no point. But she was actually civil to me today, while pointing out a mistake I'd missed. LOL. Oh well. For now, it's calm, & I'm ignoring the whole thing.

I've seen Lorax here & at the Simple Living board. Sandy from the Feminist board has a Prius, too. Two folks here at work have them. They love them. And I lovce the $3,000 tax break! ;o)

That's exactly right. We all knew better than to say anything. Especially here, it seems. In any conflict, the manager is always right & the peon is always wrong. That's essentially what the HR person told me--that she couldn't help me.
