you have been quite stressed lately with all the excitement of the new grandbabies. hopefully it will all settle down soon. instaed of the meds have you asked about herbals? like valerian ,kava or st.johns wort? if you are on any meds you have to see if they interact. they do help.

Hi Terre,
Wow you are really lucky.
Have you always been able to get away with that little sleep?
Wish I could do as you do with so little sleep :)

Hi Hugs! No, not always. Before my dogs...I could sleep maybe 7 or 8 hours and now? No way! I've become used to it ... well I should say my body has come use to just 5 or 6 hours. It makes for a long day. You would think I'm tired but I'm not. I just have lots of energy!! ;-)

Hi, Thanks for your input--but I am on too many asthma meds & thyroid meds & those herbal thingys would interact badly with them!

I am normally a very light sleeper - if I get 4-5 hours sleep that is almost too much, most of the time I get by on 3-4 hours sleep- but I am always tired- but I just keep pluggin along, I always get my 2nd wind & my 3rd- etc!!! lol I know I will relax more after Catherine does arrive---whenever that may be !! Then it will be my surgery! I wish I could just snap my fingers & everything would be over & fine & it would be Novemeber-- that is when a bunch of us are going to Vegas for our anniversaries- like we did last year! can't wait !

my body has got used to that amount of sleep over the years.most times it is enough.there are times i wake up around 3am- night sweats...YUCK!! then the sleep catches up to me.sometimes i'll take a nap on the weekends if i am at home.
