How have the soaring gas prices affected your summer plans? (Please choose one.
- We've cancelled our vacation - we can barely afford to go around the corner!
- We're flying to our destination instead of taking our yearly drive, it's cheaper
- We're scaling back our vacation activities to make up for the cost of driving.
- No change in plans - no matter what it costs, we're getting in the car.

LOL. You're talking about things I've never considered, in my 37 years of driving. As I said, I can't imagine it would be much different from the 4-cylinder Toyotas I've been driving for 20 years.
There's apparently one in stock, & I was looking at it online. It said 110 hp @ 5000 rpm. 1.5 liter engine. I didn't see anything about size of cylinder. 0 to 60 in 10.37 seconds. They claim 60 mpg city, 51 highway. That varies a lot, depending on where you read it.

it should be about the same as what you are driving... the 1.5 liter is the cylinder.....
I ordered the car. Gave them a choice of 4 colors, depending on which comes in first--metallic dark gray, red, blue, or light green.
LOL. I'm not much of an options person. I'm into dependable, inexpensive transportation. So I got a low-key package. I think it has a CD player, which I've never had before. Oddly, they only come in automatic. After untold years of driving stick, I know I'll be groping for the clutch & the stick. LOL. I used to do that when I'd get in a company car. And when I went from a 5-speed to a 4-speed, I kept trying to shift into 5th! No sunroof--not offered. I forget what else. In the 8 years since I bought a car, it seems that a lot of things that used to be options have now become standard. It has intermittent wipers on both front & back WooHoo! I haven't had a rear wiper since my last car, & I've never had intermittents. :o) It's a hatchback--the only way it's currently offered. I had a hatch on my last car & liked it. It has lots of storage places. Can't remember what else.
When I was looking at the Prius several years ago, it came w/roadside assistance, which apparently was common then. That has apparently fallen by the wayside. :o( Too bad.
They didn't even have one in stock for me to test drive, so it's a good thing I drove it a few years ago. I remember how extremely quiet it was. Nice! And it now has push-button start, which it didn't have then. Weird.

Congratulations Katz...... you can be proud of yourself for helping the environment...
You have a pushbutton start? What kind of car do you have? Is yours like this one? Did I tell you that it has NO key?! Just an elctronic doohickey of some kind. The car's sensor can read it right through your pocketbook, like the new ID cards we have for work. So you don't need anything in your hand to open or start the car. It has no key holes in the doors, no ignition to put a key in. LOL.
I think I told you it only comes in automatic, right? Weird.
I should have it by the end if August. Unfortunately, my car registration, inspection, & insurance are all also due at the end of August, so I'm going to have to pay for them all. Bummer.
