i answered the true or false post on starting a new thread here it is :O)
do you take care your children for an annual physical? i do. jeremy needs it mostly for school sports & his doc won't sign any health forms without an up to date physical. he just went on monday-
WOOOHOOOOO ~ he grew 1 1/2 inches!!! he is now a tall 5' 4".he is short & stocky. there is still hope he may grow a few more!!! he got a clean bill of health and cleared to play soccer in the fall. he also got a good lecture~again~ on proper nutrition & proper warmup/cooldown for sports so he can avoid his injuries & cramps. he was very happy to hear he was updated on all vaccines until next year when he will need the adult pertussis vaccine.
he's also had eye exam and trip to the orthodontist. now the dentist to get teeth xray since he had his braces off a couple months & wearing his retainer.
he is good for another year.

Thank you for starting a thread.......
that sounds like my older son.his thinks he doesn't need a physical every year because he is not sick. he has a skin condition-his oil glands cause him to get a funky rash. he sees the dermatologist for that-but does put it off too long & for stupid reasons.
of course he is a male- but your son doesn't know he should be happy that his dr talks about steroid dangers! that is not good having back problems at such a young age.
jeremy has seen the orthopedist more times about his knees. last year he was told he may need surgery before he is 30 if he keeps up the injuries- he does not do enough strengthening exercises . he thinks walking & running does enough- silly kid!!!
he wanted me to get him a membership to the local gym. i told him he has one- i pay my school taxes-use the new weight room they have there!! and the coaches/teachers that are there are very helpful to the kids.they do not let them just lift or use machines without instruction or spotter.
Thanks for starting a new thread Pat,

Use to before college time, LOL
Even when they were in HS .. we would go together.
As like yours one needed the sports clearance yearly.
Now it's when they are here or if they are sick ..
I do try to keep up with all those yearly visits for them
Oldest will be going to the dentist .. harder with youngest as he is
