Good Morning!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...

We had a busy one, amidst all the rain!  It's been raining for about a week now... I'm talking cats and dogs, not scattered showers!   I don't mind though the trees really really needed it after the heat wave we had....  and it keeps me indoors so I'm doing little projects like organizing closets and drawers and getting rid of "stuff".  Amazing how much stuff accumulates...

Some friends came over on sunday for a visit, arrived at 1 and we talked and talked and talked until it was pm... my goodness...  This couple is about 20 yrs younger than us but we have so much in common... I know friendships are  not age bound, but it amazed me to think that it can click so well......

Today I've got an appointment at the gyn,  check up, and I want to ask her if she thinks that hot flashes can resurface after not having had them for a few years... never a dull moment for us gals is there? LOL

So what's up with you gals?    I like this Monday Morning gossip thread, nice start to the day and kind of a catch up for those who make it once a week or so to the board.  Do you think we should continue with the thread every Monday?  Would you like to rename it?  It's your board, you have a say in what happens here......

Happy Monday,
Yeah, I'm finally completely healed from a broken ankle. I can start exercising again, & wearing sandals & getting regular pedicures! I am sooo happy, it's been a great day. Today has also been 3 weeks since my hubby quit smoking. I'm so proud of him. I hope the rest of the week is as good as today. Not bad for a Monday at all. Even work was good.

Lot's of smiles, Kim

I quit smoking 6 years ago & never started again. I know it's very hard. I've been trying to get my hubby to quit all this time, but he had to finally make the decision on his own. He's using the patch & it really seems to be working. Our home is completly smoke free. We never smoked inside anyway, always on the patio. So now our patio is a much nicer place to sit & relax. :)
