A typical girls night out for me is a walk in one of the neighborhoods with two other friends. Do that at least 2 times a week.

My monthly girls night out is going to the home of one of my "bee" mates and working on quilts! For 8 years we have met monthly to quilt and work on various projects. They are six of us in our group and we can all count on one hand the times each of us has had to meet. Pretty amazing for six mothers with very busy children. Bee night is a top priority for all of us.

Hi Teri,
Wow how fun & lucky you are.
To be able to do that walk with friends twice a week is pretty amesome!
Not to mention the gals that you've been with for 8 years, love it!

Hi Hugs - yes it is awesome and they are all awesome friends. The walking buddies are not part of the bee, although one of them is crafty and a quilter like me so we often consult on projects together too.

Wish you were here too to walk with us!

I also forgot to mention that once a year the "bee" goes on a retreat to a B&B to sew and shop. We have a great time. Again pretty amazing that of all our bee weekeneds only one person missed one time due to her DH's health problems.

that sounds super.... if you were knitting afghans instead of quilting I'd say you were a "close knit group!"

In my younger days it was pub hopping, now im older i would settle for a girls night at home having a good chat and a couple of drinks.

Hey Von,
Oh yes on the pub hopping way back when, LOL
Some good times though weren't they?
Now your girls nights sound quite fun & perfect
How often do you get to do that?
Just wondering :)
