Do you measure the laundry detergent or just pour some in ?    I realized that I was adding too much laundry detergent,,, so I started measuring.....  buying a lot less detergent lately!     What about you?

1.  Do you measure when you add the laundry detergent?

2.  Do you use liquid or powder?

3.  Do you normally wash most of your stuff on cold, warm, or hot?

My machine doesn't warm the water, it just uses the mixture of cold from the pipes and hot from the hot water heater, but that cold water can get mighty cold in winter!

I used to just pour it in, but now I measure. Sometimes I'll add a little extra depending on what i'm washing.

I always use liquid.By the way, has anybody used the new Tide Lavender & Vanilla detergent? I keep seeing it advertised, but I can't find it anywhere around here. I love the Downey Lavender & Vanilla fabric softner.

I use cold water for everything except sheets & towels.

No, I don't guess the boys would like smelly detergent. I found the Tide lav/van detergent at Wal-Mart today. My hubby said people were looking at me like I was crazy because I was so excited about laundry detergent. I guess it doesn't take much to make me happy huh? lol Anyway it does smell yummy, but I won't wash hubby's clothes with it, only mine & Tiffany's.
I spray lavender/vanilla pillow spray on my bed pillows. I think it's relaxing.

Smiles, Kim
