Do you measure the laundry detergent or just pour some in ? I realized that I was adding too much laundry detergent,,, so I started measuring..... buying a lot less detergent lately! What about you?
1. Do you measure when you add the laundry detergent?
2. Do you use liquid or powder?
3. Do you normally wash most of your stuff on cold, warm, or hot?

Hi again Rita!
1. Do you measure when you add the laundry detergent?
~ I measure and I use a little bit less than they call for. Laundry det. companies want you to use it faster so the line is actually too much, and too much is bad for your clothes and the washer.
2. Do you use liquid or powder?
~ DH is a repairman and powder is the #1 reason washers break down. It plugs everything up ... so I only use liquid
3. Do you normally wash most of your stuff on cold, warm, or hot?
~ warm ... just slightly warm

Jodi, thank you for all the information.. it was really interesting.
Yeah, DH hates when I use fabric softener but I like the liquid better and I like to line dry so I can't use the dryer sheets. I only use a little bit though and that usually keeps him from nagging. LOL! It's nice to be married to a Mr. Fixit, it saves me lots of money but I pay for it with hearing the lectures. :D
My brother is pre-med and he told me the same thing. Sometimes it's doctors that do studies that establish what 'numbers' are good and sometimes it's pharmaceutical companies. I had never thought of it before he said that. Even the doctors really don't know for sure. I guess that's why they call it practicing medicine.
Thanks for the invite too!
