Good Morning Sand Boxers and any lurkers who wish to join in......

...   as I look back on the weekend my first thought is "I didn't accomplish" a thing.   I wonder if that is really a "bad" thing? For this weekend, I think it was a good thing.... how nice... we just did things when we felt like it, and if not, then it didn't get done... period.  No structure, no pressure, no demands... How was your weekend?

I did get some reading done... magazines mostly, I'm trying to sort out and chuck excess magazines, they really pile up something terrible.   (of course to me, having 5 magazines in the rack means piling up)  What are you reading this week?

We watched a movie called The History of Violence, the guy at the video store told us , "it's not violent".... could anyone tell me why I would believe that?  I did though, go figure.   Anyone watch a movie/dvd lately?

The house is still cold, heat has not kicked in yet (yes it's still august!!), so I'm drinking a hot chocolate  .  Now that is something that could be added to our things to make us fat list.... the challenge from last week was not all that successful.... we missed the goal of 150 by a mere 23 posts    ;O(      On a positive note we can try again this week on our new challenge, which I'll post in a minute!

Let's give Bunny another round of fingers crossed and good thoughts on her thyroid surgery on Tuesday.  We'll be thinking about you dear friend.

Hey Suzan,
How did I miss Bunny's surgery was this Tuesday ::blush::
Definitely tons of loving thoughts & prayers for her & the family.

Kind of neat that you didn't do much.
Relaxing is suppose to be just that, LOL

Good to see you did some reading ..
Goes with my QOTW on BC

Morning all ! First, thank you for your well wishes- I am starting to get very anxious- have alot to do today- have to tie up loose ends, banking, food shopping, vacum up dog hairs & wash kitchen floor. change sheets- will keep my self busy. & my girls said they would be over w/ babies in tow! lol

DH is not a man to be very expressive & show emotions, but we went out to eat Friday & Saturday nite & ordered in last nite- I'm thinking whatzuuupp with this- then it popped into my lil brain- oh this is his nervous way of being nicer than usual! His own sister told me that was what this whole week-end of wineing & dineing was all about ! lol Yesterday went to my best friends- son's baby shower. When I was leaving about 15 people had to stand up & give me a hug & kiss & wish me well. I'm sure other people were wondering what the heck is up with her!

Not reading any books or have watched any movies here! Have'nt had time!- I will at the end of this week- as I will be only able to whisper, & not be able to move my neck in any position- should be fun sleeping- the recliner will be my best friend- once again ! lol I should get a bell- when I need assistance! lol

Will be in touch before I get my throat sliced !! lol My kids hate when I say that! lol I have to keeep joking or I will end up crying- so joking is better- it does'nt hurt my throat- crying does !

We are also in the proccess of building a shed/work shop, everything is a mess,we tore down the old shed,so everything that was in there is in the driveway.

Hope you're new shed does'nt take as long to build as our's.

I'm not much of a curry fan, so Indian food for me, while interesting and intriguing is not my favorite..... I like chinese though...

Hi Amber,,,,, that's a great idea to hire a sitter so that your shed gets your undivided attention......
