Good Morning Sand Boxers and any lurkers who wish to join in......
... as I look back on the weekend my first thought is "I didn't accomplish" a thing. I wonder if that is really a "bad" thing? For this weekend, I think it was a good thing.... how nice... we just did things when we felt like it, and if not, then it didn't get done... period. No structure, no pressure, no demands... How was your weekend?
I did get some reading done... magazines mostly, I'm trying to sort out and chuck excess magazines, they really pile up something terrible. (of course to me, having 5 magazines in the rack means piling up) What are you reading this week?
We watched a movie called The History of Violence, the guy at the video store told us , "it's not violent".... could anyone tell me why I would believe that? I did though, go figure. Anyone watch a movie/dvd lately?
The house is still cold, heat has not kicked in yet (yes it's still august!!), so I'm drinking a hot chocolate . Now that is something that could be added to our things to make us fat list.... the challenge from last week was not all that successful.... we missed the goal of 150 by a mere 23 posts ;O( On a positive note we can try again this week on our new challenge, which I'll post in a minute!
Let's give Bunny another round of fingers crossed and good thoughts on her thyroid surgery on Tuesday. We'll be thinking about you dear friend.

Von,
Good luck getting everything back to normal!
Suzan,
Thanks for asking about Ethan.
i love chinese food too!
i think trying the indian food w/ someone from that culture who was there to explain what everything was made it better. i don't think we would have enjoyed it as much if it were only us, trying to guess what things were, or just picking from the buffet based on looks of the food.

Happy Monday!
It stormed really bad most of the weekend, so we mostly puttered around the house. We watched football & we both read. I finished one book & started another which I just finished tonight.
I would rather have a quiet weekend with no pressure than be busy with plans the whole time.
I wish you well Bunny, you'll be in my thoughts.
Hope everyone has a great week :)
